Introduction – what are custom-fit condoms?
Everyone has heard of condoms as a method of birth control and STI prevention. It also probably doesn’t come as a shock that stores usually stock several options of condoms from different brands as well as different fit options (such as close fit or XL size). However, what was new to me was that custom-fit condoms actually exist.
MyOne (formerly known as TheyFit)is a brand that offers 10 lengths, 10 girths and 66 sizes to choose from depending on a person’s measurements. Once the correct size is chosen, condoms are then shipped out in discreet packaging.
Why is this subject important?
I was hesitant to put out this post as I know many people find subject matter such as this awkward or embarrassing. Some also think that this subject isn’t something to be discussed by a cis woman. However, that’s not how I think in terms of this website. I love to tackle topics that others find ‘too much’ to talk about as my thinking is that if I help one person, it’s worth it. Several years ago, I also had a YouTube review for this brand (now removed when I retired my channel) and used to receive uncomfortable messages from people as they assumed it was some kind of invitation for inappropriate contact. Regardless of this, I still really wanted to reinstate a conversation about this here on my website.
I regularly see videos of women putting condoms over their entire leg to ‘prove’ that men are just being silly when it comes to finding condoms uncomfortable. If I’m being completely honest, I find these types of videos not only counterproductive (a leg is not the same as a penis in terms of sensation) but also offensive with regard to minimising male discomfort. Unfortunately, in a world where women regularly have to suffer through birth control options that just don’t feel good at best, it gives rise to an aggressive competition of who can put up with pain and discomfort the longest without complaining.
As a FAM user in a long term monogamous relationship, condoms are a part of my toolkit for being intimate, regardless of my fertility status. They also serve as a great choice for a mess-free experience. Despite this though, before finding MyOne, my partner and I could never find the ‘right’ fit. He would often say that regular high street store brands would feel far too tight to the point where it was distracting. Having spent a significant amount of money trying various brands over the years, we were really glad to have found MyOne condoms to be great for us.
MyOne Perfect Fit Review

My partner found the sizing and purchasing experience really easy from MyOne and once we made a note of his size, it’s easy for me to go online to order them too rather than it all be down to him. Many people may not find this useful, especially if you’re not male but as someone who enjoys playing an equal role in our intimate life, the ease of use of the website was important to me. The price point is comparable to other brands we’ve used in the past (£6.99 for 6 with free shipping).
The condoms themselves come in circular packets and are of normal thickness (e.g not like those branded either extra-thick or extra thin – somewhere in the middle). They are a neutral colour and come pre-lubricated. I only wish they could have a latex-free version available for those with latex allergies as I feel this would attract a wider market. As mentioned previously, the shipping process was truly discreet – just a brown padded envelope which fitted easily through our letterbox. The sizing is also discreet (just a letter and number code). This is great for those who would rather not allude to their sizing in front of a new partner or if a friend were to stumble on their stash in a bedroom drawer.
Overall, I’m so happy I found MyOne as an option – many people have never heard of this brand so, despite many people finding subjects like this awkward, I really wanted to talk about it.
